Clint Grant began his construction career in 1992 as a turnkey custom home builder in Louisiana. In 1994, he became one of only three builders in Sabine Parish licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Contractors; enabling his move into the commercial/government sector—building numerous government and privately funded projects including churches, apartments, State Park and school renovations, etc.

In 1997 Clint relocated to the DFW area, where he recognized the growth opportunities in this market provided by the residential sector. In Rowlett, he started a business framing houses for builders such as Drees, Highland and US Homes. Leading his three crews, he became Pulte’s top volume framer in the DFW market.

Over the following years Clint left his mark on the landscape of DFW and beyond—building lofts and storefronts in Deep Ellum, helping build out several master planned communities for Grand Homes, and becoming extensively involved in missions construction projects across the United States building and developing church campgrounds.

Clint marked his return to the commercial sector in February 2016 with Lundy Services. Here—in his role as foreman and then superintendent—he spent nearly six years building a solid reputation and relationships with project/construction managers and other superintendents at several of DFW’s leading general contractors, who routinely asked that Clint Grant be the person to oversee upcoming projects.

His guiding principle toward both those he worked for and who worked for him has been that of Servant Leadership. For years, many of these people have urged and encouraged him to start his own company again. Clint took the first step toward this by joining the Great Resignation in December 2021. He looks forward to serving you in this expanded capacity at Cowtown Carpentry with the same guiding principles that have led him in the past.
